Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what data Fablecut collects, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to fablecut.com.

1. Data we collect

• Account — your email, name, and a hashed password.
• Content — the briefs, prompts, characters, and projects you create, and the media generated from them.
• Usage — generation records (provider, model, status, cost) and credit transactions.
• Billing — managed by Stripe; we store your Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, not card numbers.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service, generate your content, meter credits, process payments, send transactional email, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

3. Subprocessors

We share the minimum necessary data with: Google Cloud (hosting, database, storage), Google AI (Gemini, Imagen, Veo — generation prompts to produce your content), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email). Prompts you submit are sent to the relevant AI provider to generate output. We may add further AI providers (for example Runway) in the future; we will update this list before routing your content to them.

4. Cookies

We use a single strictly-necessary first-party cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your projects, generated files, and personal data are permanently removed, except records we must retain for legal or accounting purposes (e.g. payment records).

6. Your rights

You can access and export your data from Settings, and delete your account at any time. Depending on your location you may have additional rights (access, correction, erasure, portability). Contact us to exercise them.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Media is served only through authenticated, ownership-checked URLs.
